ahhh, it was a game back in the early '90's on the Commodore Amiga. I'll find a link...

Obviously this image is lightyears ahead of the graphics in Elite, but I feel the same atmosphere, brings back superb memories...

Ok well, typography can be a pretty tricky subject. I just think in this case the text looks too bold, as if this was for a poster or a cover of the book. I think you want to keep the focus on the horizon itself in the imagery. The plus is, how it is now gives the image a relative angle to work from. Personally (and it's just my opinion), I would shrink "horizons" to about 1/8 the size it is now and change the colour to plain white, then fix it directly under the bottom right corner.

About the originality thing, It's not that the image isn't a one of a kind, because it is. But the style is a repetition which is being used more and more on DA. Terragen, Photoshop planets with the same layer styles and textures and then stars. I love the 3d there, it looks like you really know how to push the motion factor. Probably just for your next piece I would recommend using even more of your 3d skills.

Sorry if I sounded abrupt, I just think some of the little things are ruining what otherwise might be a masterpiece.
